We would love to invite you and your spouse to our first ever Marriage Day at River City Church.

Marriages can move through many seasons: increasing family responsibilities, new jobs, moving house or even moving country, illness, loss, and times when life simply feels full. Each season brings its own joys and its own pressures, and sometimes the way we have always done things together needs to grow and adapt.

This day is a chance to step away from the everyday, spend some unhurried time together, and think about how we keep loving one another well in every season of life.

We're delighted to welcome Jonah and Ugo Ulebor from Mosaic Church Leeds as our guest speakers. Originally from Nigeria, they are pastors we know and trust, and we're really looking forward to learning from them.

Time: 10am to 3pm

Venue: The Well, The Mount Pleasant Retail Park, Holderness Rd, HU9 2BN

Cost: Free (Booking required so that we can gather any dietary requirements)

Lunch provided

Your husband or wife is very welcome to come even if they don't usually attend River City, or if you'd prefer to come alone that is ok too. This isn't a day only for couples who feel they are struggling. Whether your marriage feels strong right now or a little stretched, we hope you'll leave encouraged. It will be relaxed and warm, and you won't be asked to share anything you're not comfortable with.
