Hull & UK Riots
Working for peace
As a church family, we ask that we unite in prayer at this time of uncertainty and unrest, for all that are affected by the events of the last week and are experiencing fear, anxiety, anger or sadness. The Evangelical Alliance have produced a prayer that we hope you will find helpful in guiding your prayers at this time.
As a team we are particularly mindful of those in our church family, and in the city, who are experiencing racism, intimidation and fear. We have loved welcoming the nations into our church, and we know that we follow a God who loves the nations of the world and cares deeply for those experiencing disadvantage and pain, so if there is anything we can do to help support you at this time please do let us know by emailing hello@rivercityhull.co.uk
In these times of uncertainty about what the future looks like, let's remember that our hope is found in Christ Jesus, and let's "look to Jesus" in prayer for our city, our nation and our church.
